Matt Barbuto: from delivery driver to founder of tech solutions company, Ynomia.
Success? Starting each day with a sense of purpose and ending each day with a sense of accomplishment.
Short Cuts is an interview series in which Upside participants and faculty answer eight quick questions about their background, ambitions, and the superpower they’ve always wanted.
Before launching himself into the world of business, Matt was a courier delivery driver. He moved into corporate before joining a startup and finally taking the plunge and becoming a founder himself.
In the construction industry, Matt saw an opportunity to learn a new mega-industry and the chance to participate in the sector’s digital evolution. In 2018, he co-founded Ynomia to address a lack of onsite connectivity and transparency and help the sector achieve breakthrough efficiency in terms of time, cost, quality, and safety.
Matt lives in Melbourne with his wife, 2 kids, and, at various times, foster kids.
